After many years of research and development a new book has emerged detailing the history of the View-Master company from the early days at Sawyer's to today's newest products from the minds at Fisher-Price
This work outlines the early making of blue-ring reels, the changes
from Bakelite to plastic and ideas that never made it into the
market place. Nothing like it has ever been attempted by anyone
before!
The following information is from the back jacket of our book:

**The printed copies of our book are now SOLD OUT!!! However, we want to continue to share the history of the company with other collectors so we have produced the book in PDF format on CD-Rom. Easy to load and read on any computer monitor.
The following comment have been made regarding our book:
"Mary Ann &
Wolfgang Sell and Charley Van Pelt have written a great book on
View-Master. I read 2/3 of it in the plane in the way back. It
is a fascinating story of the artists, photographers, engineers
and salesmen behind this great product. Everything comes out alive.
The book is so well written that I could imagine myself
living in the 1950s-60s and working for Sawyer's. Thanks for the
great memories!!!"

"This book is
so good you could walk to Ohio, pay cash, and be happy to do so!

"There were a
lot of other neat and new things at the Mesa convention. The first
few days consisted mainly of room hopping and boy was that fun!
Among the rooms I visited were Mary Ann & Wolfgang. They recently
had their new VM book come of the press. I was lucky to get copy
no.2! Eat your heart out George! ;-) Seriously, the copies weren't
numbered, but when Mary Ann told me she sold her first copy, I
told her "Okay I gotta get your second copy!" She signed
it,attesting to that fact. I wonder how much it would fetch on
ebay! ;-) It's an amazing book, overflowing with interesting inside
and historical information on Viewmaster. The 300 page plus book
is an incredible value at $30. This is a story that might never
have ever been told otherwise. I heard the Viewmaster people were
also buying copies."

"I had an opportunity
to look this book over and spot read items that were
immediately of interest to me. Mary Ann has done an outstanding
job in compiling the history of View-Master and the copycats.Would
like to recommend that anyone who considers themselves a serious
View-Master enthusiast should purchase a copy.I give it a 5 star
rating in book reviews."

"I gotta say,
your book's great ! It's definitely the best book available about
VM (not that there's that many!) and your book's better than I
hoped it would be."
